I have been lucky enough to use Barnes Flooring 3 times in the last 7 years and every time it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them. The last occasion (December 2024) exceeded all my expectations, if that was even possible! Not only did they manage to get carpets fitted during the busy pre-Christmas rush, but they worked meticulously with my diary commitments to have it done during convenient times. They carefully divided the fittings into two separate sessions which helped a lot with moving furniture but also scheduled one of the fittings during a period when we were on holiday which meant it did not impact on us at all. During this time, communication was done by WhatsApp rather than phone, to avoid me incurring roaming costs in South Africa, and any issues were dealt with promptly and without hassling me.
The fitting was by no means straight forward, but solutions were found without us being stressed at all. Above all, the carpets were of the highest quality and at a very competitive rate. What an absolute joy to return from holiday to find an amazing job done well, and very beautiful soft new carpets. I honestly cannot praise the professionalism of Sarah and her team enough and can recommend Barnes Flooring based on availability and choice of carpets, price, service delivery and after-care every time!

We have used Barnes Flooring a couple of times over the last 12 months and were very pleased with the advice we received from the staff in the shop and the expertise of the fitters.
The Amtico luxury vinyl tiles added the finishing touch to our new kitchen, particularly with the laying pattern used. Also, we were able to order the carpet for four bedrooms as one lot to minimise any variation and then spread the fitting over several months to allow us to clear the rooms in turn.
